With Q2 of this year already behind us, we are happy to share just some of the numerous improvements and new functionality made already available to all ONDO users, within the past 3 months.
If you are a farmer using ONDO or one of our valued partners, you get immediate updates on the new releases, right into the platform. However, if you are still considering automating with ONDO – here is just a small part of what you are missing out 🙂
Schedules
The automated irrigation schedules now feature a much friendlier user interface, with both list and calendar options, notifications for potentially overlapping schedules and a new option for start of schedules every N days/every X minutes, in addition to the scheduling by day of the week. No doubt those updates make it super convenient to set up schedules and save tons of time when you have a multitude of fertirrigation programs that you want to run on a regular basis, for the different crops and zones in your farm.
New recipe types
With the growing community of ONDOmated farmers, we see more and diverse needs for different fertigation recipe types. So, the recipe types in ONDO are already extended with recipes by application rate, by time with pH control, by quantity with pH control and by proportional quantity with pH control. In line with the needs for recipes for application rate, we now also have a Fertilizer log functionality added to the Recipe panel allowing you to keep records on the fertilizer filling in the tanks. Finally, the premixing option via our Air Bubble Jet solution is now also enabled for recipes with EC and pH control.
Wireless AIR Point modules
With 95%+ of ONDO automations being wireless ones, our R&D is always pursuing optimization of the AP modules, including faster/easier setup and troubleshooting. As a result, a key addition in My ONDO automation management interface is the map of wireless AP modules along with a multitude of diagnostics tools for the AIR Point network – measuring the distance, obstacle detection, terrain evaluation, etc. Thus, any potential reasons behind a non-perfect network signal can be identified and prompt actions taken towards optimizing it.
Alarms
The alarms in ONDO allow to proactively notify in case of potential issues, so actions can be taken, with unlimited custom alarm types available in addition to standard ones. To enable the fast and easy tracing of these alarms and their status, in My ONDO you now have a new Alarms filter panel, with history by serial number, type, source, event, and date range. Raised and cleared alarms are grouped for better visibility, with a lifecycle timeline showing the raised → duration → cleared timeline for each alarm.
Audit log
If your ONDO automation is being operated by multiple users, now you have the option to trace any changes or additions they applied to your automation setup, including timestamp, what has been added or changed and by whom.
ONDO Management System (OMS)
The portal that will enable the structured and traceable interaction between ONDO, its partner network and the partners’ customers – OMS – is being actively developed and will soon become open to our most active partners. We are thrilled that it is already shaping up as the single point of all-things-ONDO: covering the full set of needs of ONDO partners – from offer creation to end-user support.
More cool additions are already live and being used by ONDO farmers, while other goodies are exclusively developed to support the efficient diagnostics and fast support by our valued international partners.
